University of Waikato

Established in 1964, The University of Waikato has its main campuse located in Hamilton and a new campus in Tauranga. The University of Waikato has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a 65 hectare campus, lakes, gardens, trees and playing fields. Waikato is a comprehensive university, made up of seven faculties and schools, with more than 12,000 students. Waikato’s education course is highly ranked while four other subjects – Modern Languages, Economics and Econometrics, Law and Computer Science and Info Systems are ranked in the top 150 in the world in QS Subject Rankings.
