Lincoln University

Established in 1990, Lincoln University is New Zealand’s smallest university with approximately 3,500 students enrolled from more than 60 countries. Its primary campus is located in Lincoln which is about 15km outside the city of Christchurch. Lincoln University focuses on practical learning, with a low student to lecturer ratio, which means more personalised attention for each student. Lincoln has a range of specialist qualifications including agriculture, health science, environmental studies and much more. International students can also study English, foundation and degree programs at Lincoln University. Students can select to specialise in minor courses from other subjects in addition to their major course. This allows students to consider the industry they might want to work on after graduation, and take courses relating to that industry.
