In order to be eligible to teach in New Zealand, you must first learn about the New Zealand education and teaching system. This means undertaking a course which will prepare you with this knowledge, both academic and cultural, with a local work practicum included. Doing so will allow you to register as a teacher to practise in New Zealand.
This course is available at several universities and you may gain an endorsement through this qualification to teach in one of the following:

There is a high demand in New Zealand for teachers. However, please be sure that although this career pathway exists, in line with immigration requirements, your motivation when you first apply for the course and student visa, should be to study in New Zealand for the benefit of your career progression in your home country. Immigration will need to feel certain that you are applying as a genuine student, which means, with intention to return home either after your studies or after a post study work visa period.
