Lucton School

Lucton School, is a private, co-educational, day and boarding school in Lucton, Herefordshire, England. Set within 55 acres of beautiful countryside, Lucton school was founded in 1708 as a boys’ school and began admitting girls in the 1970s. It currently has approximately 350 pupils, aged from six months to 18 years. Class sizes are small, with the vast majority of lessons throughout the school being taught in groups of between 12 and 14.

Lucton school has a curriculum that is ambitious and challenging and an environment that is welcoming. The school day begins at 8.40am and finishes at 5pm, structured to accommodate a broad curriculum including many clubs, sports, and extra-curricular activities. Prep School students swim twice a week whilst Middle School students and above take part in sport throughout the week, with Wednesday afternoons devoted to competitive fixtures and competitions, some of which are held nationally.

In addition to UK students, Lucton School welcome others from Hong Kong, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, and many European countries.
