Lincoln University offers a Bachelor of Sports and Recreation Management. This includes the widest range of sports and recreation courses of any New Zealand university. Courses are focused on, for example, the administration side of sports and recreation, public policy, ecology, the social psychology of wellbeing.
Students can choose courses that develop their understanding of strategic management, marketing, event planning, motivation and planning, adventure tourism and outdoor recreation.
The Bachelor of Sports and Recreation Management includes a 120-hour internship to get valuable work experience in an industry area.
